I like simplicity, Tumblr makes little to no learning curve involved in users. Features are spontaneous and rapid to establish. Users minimally sign up and begin posting in a minute.
Tais Rios, and there are two more individuals to be added on to this group as they edit their own personal experience with the microblogging Tumblr.

The Standard (http://standardhotels.tumblr.com/), a hotel chain, engages with customers by sharing musical tastes, social events, and cultural happenings in the areas it serves.
Celebrities are also fanatics of the blogging platform. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, star of (500) Days of Summer and Inception, blogs about his media project Hit RECord (http://hitrecordjoe.tumblr.com/) through Tumblr.
i was also part of this group. Dia and Tais pretty much explained what Tumblr is.
ReplyDeleteI personally have never used Tumblr but i did look into it, and see why some people would sign up for it.
You can keep things private or public if desired and share it with friends, family, and co-workers.
You can create your own domain, and keep your twitter and facebook followers/fans updated as soon as you post a new story.
It is completely free- and doesnt force any banners or ads on your blog.
It recently updated its design control- letting people choose from hundreds of themes and making customization a lot easier.
It is definitely a social media tool that is gaining popularity among its audience.
