Let's no even mention the replacement of Steve Jobs who literally belt the whole image that Apple has today to Tim Cook a not so well renowned CEO. Given the facts that it would ultimately affecting Apple reputation, and expectations of the New Iphone 5, or is it 4S?
While Apple tardy its release of a new phone until fall 2011 (Right Now!), it only sharpened Apple fans expectations including myself. Unquestionably, if we were to wait more than the usual year between versions of the iPhone, the result must be something stunning!
Lately Apple had been doing pretty good with expectations but what now? Is it worth waiting for? Chris Taylor the author of the article http://mashable.com/2011/10/04/no-iphone-5/ dialogues about his under estimated expectation over the new phone 5 or 4S? Stating he is disappointed over the rumors and so far no delivery.
Personally I am disappointed as well due to the fact that I have waiting a long time. Much longer than usual for the new version of the iPhone. When there is a long wait period there are more and bigger expectations. A very simple example when you wait in line a long time at a restaurant, you expect it to be something out-of-the-ordinary, spectacular.
The iPhone is also battling against smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy II, devices like these sports a much bigger screen than the iPhone. And they are getting very appealing, so I was expecting a device that would put all those other devices behind and lower their appeal. But no!
The non-iPhone, android devices now look more appealing than ever.
In conclusion, Apple let down its biggest fans and Tim Cook failed to surprise us as the new CEO. Could have taken that opportunity!
