I feel like it will help introduce our class to a type of social media that everyone may not be familiar with.
The blog I am going to follow is TMZ.com. I have followed this blog for a while and it is where I get all my celebrity gossip! I plan to continue to follow and comment on this blog.
Hi Jessie,
ReplyDeleteThank you for blogging. I love the tone of your writing - it's very personal and lively. Keep that up. A few additional comments:
1. Any statistics or reasons that the blog is good for our class? Beef up this section - not so that it's a term paper, but so that it has some meat on the bones.
2. Good blog choice, re: TMZ.com. Go back into the blog entry and tell me more about what kind of celebrity gossip you appreciate most from TMZ and an experience you have had with TMZ. You have left me wanting more.
3. Think about a more compelling headline that will grab me!
Thank you,
Perri
Thank you for the tips I definitely was a little stuck with the headline considering how I have never blogged before.
ReplyDeleteAs far as reasons why the blog is good for our class? I feel like with the fact that social media is every where today and it will be really useful in the future and something that I could possibly use in my future career. Like I said I have never blogged before, so I am hoping to take the experience I will be getting from this class blog and use it in the future.
The celebrity gossip that I appreciate the most would have to be anything about celebrities in general. It's my weakness, I don't know why I care about who Britney Spears is dating or what celebrity couple is breaking up, but I love it!
Jessie,
ReplyDeleteWhat did you think of the article I provided to the class about blogging in the classroom?
Celebrity gossip is my guilty pleasure as well. When I am stuck in an airport or to decompress from a tough week, I will always resort to a People Magazine ... not to mention reading people.com at least 1x / day.
Thank you for keeping up with the blog. I noticed your comment on Jonathan's posting. Appreciate it. You are doing the right things with the blog - so do not worry that you haven't done it before.
Best,
Perri
Since i blogged last i thought it'd be cool to comment on the first and i too LOVE tmz! I'm on it everyday!
ReplyDeleteI never thought about blogging before, let alone blogging in the classroom. After reading the article it sort of opened my eyes to why blogging in the classroom can be helpful and give me experience with blogging that may be helpful in my future career.
